Report reveals how much Christian Eriksen could earn at Inter Milan

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has under six months remaining on his contract at White Hart Lane, meaning that he could leave for free in the summer.

Therefore, January will likely be the last chance that Levy and co have to make some money on the Great Dane, who seems adamant on leaving the club.

It has now been reported by the Guardian that Eriksen expects to travel to Milan in the next few days to complete a medical ahead of the transfer deadline.

Discussions between Inter and Spurs are said to still be ongoing, although the report from the Guardian has revealed Eriksen’s personal terms at the Italian club.

The Danish playmaker will apparently be paid £260,000 per week, which could rise to as much as £320,000 per week after add-ons are calculated.

Spotrac claim that Eriksen is currently earning just £75,000 per week at Tottenham, although one would think that this could have increased if he had signed a new deal.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I can’t help but feel this is a long-term step down for Eriksen, although perhaps the increased paycheck played a part in the decision. Spurs must now take whatever money they get for him and invest it into a new player.
