Report reveals how much Daniel Levy has negotiated as an up-front fee for Harry Kane

The Independent have revealed that the bid from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane which has been accepted by Tottenham is worth more than £110m including add-ons.

Just a few days ago, Bayern’s offer of £86m for Kane was turned down by Spurs, with reports explaining at the time that the guaranteed portion of the fee (£73m) was not deemed to be enough by Daniel Levy (Daily Mail).

It was reported earlier today by The Athletic’s David Ornstein that an improved offer from the German club had now been accepted by Spurs.

The journalist added that it remains to be seen how Kane reacts to the development as the striker was enjoying working with Ange Postcoglou and was leaning towards staying.

However, according to sources from Germany, Bayern are optimistic that a deal would be fully wrapped up by the end of today (Christian Falk).

Harry Kane transfer fee could rise to £110m

The Independent have now revealed that the new fee accepted by Spurs will see the North London club receive a sizeable £80m upfront for Kane.

The publication added that the total deal could go beyond £110m if certain achievable add-ons are met.

All things considered, getting £110m for a player with one year left on his contract is good business. It is not a deal that Spurs could have passed up on as the striker would have walked away for nothing next summer.

However, many Tottenham fans will understandably not see it that way at the moment as they got their hopes up about Kane potentially staying for one more season.
