Report reveals how much goalkeeper will earn following Paratici snub

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain will see him earn around £200,000-a-week, according to Foot Mercato.

The Italian goalkeeper is a free agent after his contract at AC Milan expired and had been linked with a move to Tottenham after Sky Italia claimed that Fabio Paratici made a last-ditch attempt to bring the 22-year-old to North London.

Donnarumma now looks set to complete a move to the French capital where he will play under former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Reports from Italy have claimed that he will undergo a medical while on international duty ahead of the free transfer to Ligue 1 runners-up.

Tottenham number one Hugo Lloris has just twelve months to run on his existing contract at the club and refused to dismiss speculation that he could leave when he insisted that he will only talk about it when the European Championships are over (NiceMatin).

Donnarumma was one of the most sought after free agents this summer, especially given his age. Unfortunately, while Spurs are not competing in the Champions League and do not pay wages in line with the big European clubs, we will always struggle to attract such talent.
