Report reveals how much Inter Milan may pay Spurs for Christian Eriksen

Pretty much since the start of the January transfer window, all the talk has been about Christian Eriksen and whether he would leave Spurs for pastures new, with Inter Milan the touted destination (Sun).

Reports this week claim that the Great Dane may travel to Italy and watch an Inter Milan game from the stands ahead of a potential move to Serie A (Corriere dello Sport – as relayed in Daily Mail).

This comes as Eriksen’s Tottenham contract has just under six months remaining, meaning that he could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

With no reports hinting at a new contract for the playmaker, it becomes a question of whether Spurs should sell up now for some money or wait for the free transfer.

A report in Gazzetta now claims that ‘the ending seems written’ for Eriksen in North London, but how much could Daniel Levy get for the player.

Apparently, the chairman’s hardball could work out for Spurs, as work is now being down on a €15m base deal for Eriksen, with bonuses that could rise to €20m.
