Report reveals how much Jose Mourinho will have to spend this month

Tottenham Hotspur lost yet another Premier League match when they took on Southampton yesterday at St Mary’s, losing the match 1-0 on the day. This has seen the Lilywhites lose more ground in the race for the top four.

However, Spurs are now into the January transfer window, meaning that they could sign some new players if they so wish.

Tottenham have not dipped into the window much in recent years, with Tanguy Ndombele and Lucas Moura being two exceptions.

With a new head coach in charge, who will surely want to put his own mark on the squad, Spurs may change up their spending habits this season.

The Daily Mail have now reported that Daniel Levy has set a total budget of £60m for January spending, which could give Mourinho some room to bring in a couple of players.

Tottenham bought Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, and Jack Clarke in the summer, while also getting Giovani Lo Celso on loan from Real Betis.
