CorriereDelloSport have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are not willing to offer over €40-€45m (£34.3m- £38.5m) to sign Paulo Dybala in the summer.

Dybala is set to run into the final year of his contract with Juventus and reports indicate that the Argentine looks increasingly likely to leave the club at the end of the season.

Over the last couple of weeks, the speculation linking the 27-year-old with a summer move to Tottenham has intensified.

Calcio Mercato have backed the North Londoners to make a move for the former Palermo star while The Daily Star have claimed that Juventus have offered the player to the Lilywhites.

CorriereDelloSport have now also mentioned that Tottenham have enquired about Dybala, along with London rivals Chelsea. However, it is said that neither club is willing to pay more than €45m for the forward.

The report further suggests that a move to Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain could also be a possibility for the silky left-footer, with a swap deal with either Antoine Griezmann or Mauro Icardi mooted.

Spurs Web Opinion

Spurs fans should not really get their hopes up regarding the club’s rumoured pursuit of Dybala despite the speculation intensifying over recent weeks. There would likely be plenty of interest from around Europe in Dybala and I do not see us getting involved in a bidding war for the Juve man given our financial constraints.
