Report reveals how much Spurs would be willing to pay for Filip Kostic – No bids yet

According to German publication Frankfurter Rundschau, Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make an offer for Eintracht Frankfurt star Filip Kostic.

Kostic has enjoyed a couple of outstanding campaigns at Frankfurt and has established himself as the stand out left wing-back in European football.

The 29-year-old finished the season with seven goals and 15 assists (Transfermarkt), playing a key part in the Bundesliga club’s Europa League triumph.

Spurs are expected to be in the market for a left-wing back this summer and multiple sources have claimed recently (Fichajes.net and Football.London) that the Serbian is the North London club’s top target.

Frankfurter Rundschau have now claimed that Tottenham would be willing to pay €30m (£25.5m) for Kostic, who has just 12 months left in his contract with Deutsche Bank Park.

However, the publication states that neither Spurs nor any other club have made a concrete offer for the player so far.

The report further suggests that the prospect of staying at Frankfurt has become ‘much more attractive’ for Kostic after the club qualified for next season’s Champions League.

Spurs Web Opinion

Kostic is really the only decent left wing-back option that looks likely to be available this summer. While Yannick Carrasco has been linked with Spurs in the past, it remains to be seen if Atletico would be willing to sell him. So, one would expect Spurs to push hard to land the Serbian international.
