Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Tottenham are willing to pay up to £60m to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

The report claims Fiorentina want around £60m for the forward and Spurs are willing to meet that sum if Harry Kane leaves North London.

TuttoMercatoWeb reported recently that Tottenham were set to meet Vlahovic’s agent in order to discuss whether a summer move would be possible. Darko Ristic was expected to meet with Tottenham representatives on Tuesday.

The report claimed Atletico Madrid were the front-runners for the Serbian this summer as they had come closest to Fiorentina’s £59.2m asking price, a value that seems to line up with the Gazzetta dello Sport report.

Fiorentina are also said to be weighing up whether to sell Vlahovic or sign him to a new contract in Italy.

Reports emerged earlier this month from other sources that Spurs were competing with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal for the Fiorentina goalscorer.

Spurs Web Opinion:

It all comes down to whether Spurs think that Vlahovic’s style could work alongside Harry Kane. If it would, they could move for him no matter what. If it wouldn’t, then Kane would have to leave first.
