Report reveals how much Tottenham could save by signing Lo Celso in January

Tottenham Hotspur new boy, Giovani Lo Celso, has made a great first impression during his early days in North London, particularly over the past couple of weeks.

Lo Celso only just made his full debut for the club after an injury sustained on international duty halted his progress in the starting XI.

The midfielder is currently on duty with Argentina again at the moment, along with Spurs teammate Juan Foyth, with both featuring against Brazil earlier in the week.

Lo Celso is still only technically on loan from Real Betis, with Spurs having the chance to make that deal permanent at the end of the season.

However, it was revealed this week that Spurs can actually get the deal done early in January if they want, while also saving money doing it (Marca).

ABC Sevilla has now reported that Spurs could be set to save as much as €8m on the player if they purchase in January.

Tottenham have apparently paid €15m for the season loan, and were set to pay another €40m for a permanent deal in the summer. However, that would drop to €32m in January.
