Report reveals how much Tottenham-linked Filip Kostic may cost this summer

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (as relayed by GIFN) Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic, who is allegedly on Tottenham’s radar, could be available for a cut-price fee this summer.

Spurs are expected to be in the market for a left wing-back this summer, with the North London club reportedly open to cashing in on Sergio Reguilon (Football Insider).

Kostic, who has enjoyed an exceptional campaign for Frankfurt with 15 goals and seven assists across all competitions (Transfermarkt), is said to be one of the options on the Lilywhites’ radar (The Independent).

Fichajes.net previously reported that Antonio Conte is a fan of the Serbian, who can play as a wing-back or further forward, with the Italian allegedly having tried to take him to Inter Milan in the past.

The Daily Express claimed last week that Tottenham had sent scouts to watch the 29-year-old in the Europa League final last week and the Premier League club were ready to push ahead with a move for the player.

Gazzetta have now revealed that Spurs face competition from Juventus for Kostic this summer, with the Bianconeri keen on signing the left-back.

The report adds that the Frankfurt star could be available for a fee of just €15m (£12.7m) this summer since his contract with the Bundesliga club has only 12 months left to run.

Spurs Web Opinion

While there are a lot of players to choose from for the right wing-back role, there are not too many options that Spurs can target for left wing-back.

Ivan Perisic’s age could put off the North London club while Atletico might not be willing to sell Yannick Carrasco. So, I suspect that Kostic would be at the top of Conte’s and Paratici’s wishlist.
