Report reveals how much Tottenham would have to pay to sign Eberechi Eze

Crystal Palace pair Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are hot property heading into the summer transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur tracking the former in particular. Now, it has emerged that Palace will want at least £60m for each player.

Tottenham have long been linked with Eze, who has played a starring role for Crystal Palace once again this season.

It is thought that Ange Postecoglou has earmarked the 25-year-old as a player he would like to add to his squad this summer (Independent).

With eight goals and five assists for the Eagles this season, it’s not surprising that a number of clubs would love to sign a player like Eze.

Manchester City are also keen, but Spurs are thought to hold an advantage over their rivals due to the fact that Eze would prefer to stay in London (Football Transfers).

Signing Eze will not be easy though, and will certainly not be cheap. It has already been suggested that the winger could cost up to £30m in wages alone for any club looking to secure his signature (Tottenham Hotspur News).

Eberechi Eze price tag revealed

Now, a report from the BBC has revealed how much Crystal Palace would want paying to let go of their prize asset, with both Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise having a £60m price tag on their head.

It is thought Palace “will only entertain offers” for both players “that start at £60m.” The great news for Palace fans is that the club is not in a position where they need to sell either player this summer.

Despite not wanting to sell, Palace “accept that bids are highly likely to come.” However, it is believed “any deal will be complex,” with various clauses coming into play.

Eze is thought to be “happy” at Palace, and would want to make sure that any switch would allow him to continue to showcase his “attacking flair.”

There are a lot of players I would love to see us sign, but Eze is right up there at the top of the list. He’s a quality playmaker who can turn a game on its head with his creativity. The way Spurs play, someone like Eze would slot in so easily and become even more formidable.
