Report reveals how much Wolves want from Spurs for Traore – West Ham also keen

The Telegraph have now revealed that Wolves would be willing to sell Adama Traore to Tottenham Hotspur for just £20m this month.

Reports over recent days have indicated that Traore could be Tottenham’s first signing under Antonio Conte, with the Italian thought to see the pacey wide man as a perfect option for the right-wing-back role at Spurs.

The Telegraph have now revealed that Wolves would be open to cashing in on Traore this month since the winger’s contract has only 18 months left to run.

It is explained that Bruno Lage wants to sign three players to strengthen the squad in January but the Wolves owners are reluctant to bankroll any additions.

The report alleges that the West Midlands club could thus use the funds from Traore’s sale to put towards potential incomings.

However, The Telegraph also add that Spurs face competition for the 25-year-old from London rivals West Ham, with David Moyes said to be a key admirer of Traore.

Spurs Web Opinion

If Conte does want to add Traore to his squad, then the price certainly does not appear to be a stumbling block for Spurs.

Traore is a player who splits opinions because of his poor numbers in the final third but I am certainly excited by the idea of Conte potentially converting him into a right-wing-back, although it remains to be seen if that is the Italian’s intention.
