Report reveals how Paratici, Fonseca, Levy and Hitchen will work at Spurs

A report from the Evening Standard has outlined exactly how Tottenham will work under their new management structure this summer.

The arrival of a the new managing director of football has shaken up the Spurs structure, with Fabio Paratici set to oversee footballing decisions in North London.

The report claims that technical performance director Steve Hitchen will now report directly to Paratici rather than leading recruitment himself.

While Paratici will be the leading voice in Tottenham’s football decision-making, there will also be some sort of committee at the club.

This committee will include the former Juventus man, Daniel Levy, Hitchen, the new head coach and Rebecca Caplehorn, who is the current head of governance at the club.

The report goes on to claim that Paratici will likely take the lead on transfer talks until the final stages where Levy may step in before signing off on the deal.

Both Levy and Hitchen have apparently known Paratici for a number of years and Tottenham think that he will bring a healthy dose of expertise with him.

It appears that there is a lot of expectation resting on the shoulders of Paratici given the responsibility which Levy appears to be handing him. Spurs fans will be hoping that given the power the Italian possesses, the chairman will back him accordingly when it comes to the transfer market.
