Report reveals how Spurs could rake in £98.1m to hand Mourinho a transfer kitty

Tottenham Hotspur were busy in the January transfer market as new head coach Jose Mourinho looked to make his mark on the squad he inherited from Mauricio Pochettino.

The major Spurs outgoing came in the form of Christian Eriksen to Inter Milan, as the Great Dane had just six months left on his contract in North London.

Danny Rose and Kyle Walker-Peters both went out on loan, while a number of academy youngsters were also loaned out or sold.

In terms of incomings, Spurs made the loan of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis a permanent move, bolstered their midfield with the 18-month loan of Gedson Fernandes from Benfica, and signed Steven Bergwijn from PSV.

However, Football London have now been looking at the players they believe Spurs could cash in on come the summer to provide Mourinho with money to spend.

By looking at TransferMarkt values – they came up with this list:

Danny Rose – £18m

Kyle Walker-Peters – £9m

Juan Foyth – £13.5m

Victor Wanyama – £10.8m

Eric Dier – £27m

Erik Lamela – £19.8m

TOTAL MONEY INCOMING – £98.1m

Spurs Web Opinion:

I believe that Erik Lamela will stay as Mourinho seems to be a fan of him. I am also unsure that the club would be able to get £18m for Rose or £27m for Dier considering they will both be in the final year of their contracts next season. However, apart from that, it seems a realistic list of potential summer sales.
