Report reveals how Spurs stars reacted to Serge Aurier changing room outburst

According to a report from The Daily Mail, Serge Aurier is now fighting for his future at Tottenham after storming out of the stadium during the half-time interval against Liverpool.

Aurier was taken off at the interval, along with the injured Harry Kane, with Jose Mourinho deciding to bring on Harry Winks and Erik Lamela.

The Telegraph were the first to report after Spurs’ 3-1 defeat on Thursday that the right-back did not take kindly to being substituted and decided to storm out of the stadium.

The Mail has now shed more light on what went on inside the Tottenham changing room as the publications reveals that things really ‘kicked off’ at half-time.

The report claims that Spurs stars were left stunned by an angry outburst from the Ivorian during the interval. Aurier’s teammates were also said to be shocked at the former PSG man’s reaction to being taken off.

With just 18 months left on his contract at Tottenham, the defender is now said to be fighting for his future.

The one silver lining with this whole issue is that the players seem to have been disappointed and angry with the manner of our defending for Liverpool’s first goal, which is something Mourinho would not have minded.

While it is impossible to comment on what went on behind the scenes, I would not be surprised if Jose hands Aurier a start against Brighton on Sunday.
