Report reveals how the Real Madrid squad have reacted to Bale’s improved form

Spanish news outlet Defensa Central have provided a report on how the Real Madrid squad have reacted to Gareth Bale’s improved form at Tottenham Hotspur.

Bale, who is spending the season on loan on North London from the Spanish giants, has scored six goals in his past six games, with another three assists.

The 31-year-old arrived at Spurs with a knee problem following a season in La Liga where he struggled with injuries and a lack of first-team football under Zinedine Zidane.

The Welshman had only started two Premier League games, and three of his four goals had come in cup competitions until his recent return to form.

The report claims that Bale, who helped Madrid to three consecutive Champions League titles has only received contact from Luka Modric about his improved displays with the Croatian having kept in touch on a regular basis.

AS claimed in September that sections of the Madrid dressing room were relieved to see Bale leave the club with the player departing without saying goodbye personally to all of his team-mates.
