Report reveals Inter Milan’s stance on Ndombele

According to the latest reports from Italy, Tanguy Ndombele remains Inter Milan’s number one central midfield target this summer.

On the back of Ndombele’s disappointing first season in North London, a swap deal with Milan Skriniar has been proposed as a possibility (FC Inter News).

However, other reports have indicated that Tottenham remain determined to hold on the former Lyon man (Football.London).

Corriere dello Sport claim that the Nerazzurri have not given up their hope of bringing Spurs’ record signing to the San Siro this summer.

The report claims that it is only a matter of time before the Serie A giants announce the capture of Sandro Tonali.

However, it is said that Antonio Conte is not content at signing the 20-year-old and wants to add more legs to his midfield.

It is claimed that Ndombele is the club’s number one target while Chelsea’ N’Golo Kante is their back up option.

With both players expected to cost more than €50million, it is claimed that Inter will either have to raise funds through player sales or try and pursue a part-exchange deal.

I believe a potential swap deal involving Ndombele and Skriniar will suit all parties involved as the 23-year-old does not look like he is part of Jose’s plans. However, agreeing on a fee with Levy will be a problem for Inter as the Spurs chairman will likely not want to take a loss on the midfielder.
