Report reveals lifestyle changes Conte has asked Kulusevski to implement at Spurs

The Daily Mail have revealed that Dejan Kulusevski has made some major changes to his diet under the guidance of Antonio Conte since the winger’s move to Spurs in January.

Tottenham’s signing of Kulusevski was not one of the higher-profile moves of the January transfer window, given the Swede’s struggles at Juventus this season.

However, the 21-year-old has hit the ground running in North London and already has nine goals contributes to his name in the Premier League since his arrival (Transfermakrt).

The Daily Mail have now stated that part of the reason behind Kulusevski’s successful impact is the specific training and dietary changes that Conte has implemented.

The report reveals that the former Juve winger enjoys the attention to detail in the Spurs boss’ drills. It is explained that he has also cut out sweets and fizzy drinks from his diet at the suggestion of Conte, and the winger also no longer chews gum.

The Mail also add that Kulusevski does not play video games and instead, prefers to listen to music or meditate for relaxation.

Conte is certainly known for customising players’ diet individually depending on their body type, with the Italian having done the same with Lukaku at Inter (Mirror).

So, it is perhaps not surprising that he has done the same with Kulusevski, given that the Swede seemingly has more muscle mass and weight than typical endurance athletes.
