Report reveals Mourinho’s plans for Bale until end of the season

According to Football Insider, Jose Mourinho is planning to start Gareth Bale in virtually every game from now until the end of the season.

Bale has started all of Tottenham’s last three Premier League games and is showing plenty of signs that he is coming back to his best.

Football Insider claim that Mourinho devised a tailored programme for Bale right from the start of the season which was designed to slowly acclimatise him to the demands of playing regularly.

The Tottenham boss is now said to be convinced that the winger is fully fit and his body is able to cope with the demands of regular intense football.

The report quotes a source at the club as saying the 31-year-old looks “lean, fit and hungry” and “a world-beater” in training.

It is claimed that Mourinho wants to start Bale regularly with Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane, with the Spurs boss believing that the front three is unmatched across the whole of Europe.

This is certainly exciting to hear and the fact that Jose decided to start Bale in three back-to-back Premier League matches in eight days suggests that there might be some truth to this report.

However, I do expect the 31-year-old to be rested for the Europa League matches as the las thing the Spurs boss would want is for him to pick up an injury that keeps him out for a few weeks.
