Il Romanista claim that AS Roma have told Tottenham they would have to pay €60m (£50.1m) to sign Nicolo Zaniolo this summer.
Foot Mercato journalist Santoi Aouna reported on Monday that Spurs have scheduled fresh talks with Roma over Zaniolo this week.
This was followed up by a report from 90 min, who stated on Tuesday that the North London club were refusing to give up on the winger and that Paratici had already met with Giallorossi’s general manager Tiago Pinto in recent days to have further talks.
The report asserted the Serie A club had informed Spurs that it would take a bid of over €50m (£41.8m) to sign him.
However, Il Romanista have now suggested that Roma told Tottenham to pay €60m (£50.1m) when the Premier League club sought information regarding Zaniolo.
It is explained that Paratici has ‘always liked’ the Italy international but the problem for Spurs is that Jose Mourinho intends to keep the winger at the Stadio Olimpico.

I have a feeling that Tottenham will get this deal over the line before the transfer window closes. With Zaniolo having just two years left on his contract, and with Roma signing Dybala, I believe that the Serie A club will sell the 23-year-old if the price is right despite their hard stance.
