Report reveals Nuno’s private stance on Harry Kane’s future

The Sun have claimed that Nuno Espirito Santo will push for Harry Kane to be sold if he is not convinced the striker is fully committed to Tottenham.

Kane reportedly did not show up for training when he was expected to last Monday in an alleged attempt to force through a move to Manchester City.

The striker subsequently denied that he refused to train and is now self-isolating in The Lodge at Hotspur Way, with Nuno meeting with him for the first time on Monday.

The Sun now reveal that if the striker makes it clear he wants to leave, Nuno will campaign for him to be sold. The Portuguese coach is said to be losing patience after seeing preparations for his debut season overshadowed by Kane reporting back late.

The 48-year-old is alleged to be less forgiving of the situation in private than he is publicly and is expected to tell Daniel Levy that he only wants players who are 100 per cent committed.

It is stated that the former Wolves boss does not tolerate behaviour like what we saw from Kane last week and will thus have to be convinced by the player that he cares in order to integrate the 28-year-old into the squad.
