Football London have reported that Lucas Moura is expected to remain at Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with only an unexpected and high bid able to tempt them into a sale.
It has previously been reported that Jose Mourinho, who managed Moura for 18 months and transitioned him into a number 10 role, wants to sign him for Roma this summer.
The report claimed that Roma might be able to sign the Brazilian for around £21.5m this summer, just under what Tottenham paid for him back in 2018.
Football London believe that Moura will be playing his football under Nuno Espirito Santo next season unless another club comes in with a mouth-watering bid in the coming weeks.
Moura is under contract until 2024, meaning Spurs are not under any pressure to sell up. He is also an extremely important player, having featured 50 times across all competitions last season, scoring nine and assisting eight.
Spurs Web Opinion:
I cannot see Moura leaving this summer and I’m thankful for that. He always chips in with goals and assists, can play a variety of positions, rarely gets injured, and can be a great impact off the bench. I’m not sure why some Spurs fans want rid.
