Report reveals possible pre-season plans for Spurs and Paulo Fonseca

Football London have reported that Paulo Fonseca will be looking to work with his new backroom staff and players at Tottenham as soon as possible this summer.

The arriving Portuguese head coach will likely have a fairly large group to work with during the early stages of pre-season, with just a handful missing due to international tournaments.

Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld, Hugo Lloris, Moussa Sissoko, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Rodon, Ben Davies, Giovani Lo Celso and Davinson Sanchez are all currently playing in Euro 2020 or the Copa America.

The report claims that there is an emphasis on Paratici to get players out the door early this summer in order to raise cash for future signings.

In terms of pre-season, Football London claim that the North London club could yet decide to fly abroad for a couple of games, depending on what offers are sent their way.

It is also said that Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs have been in talks over a potential mini-tournament for charity.

The report claims that Paratici and Fonseca will decide what pre-season looks like for Spurs, but there will apparently be some form of ‘team bonding’ involved.
