Report reveals potential injury boost for Manchester City ahead of Spurs clash

Manchester City may be handed a potential boost ahead of their trip to Tottenham on November 21, with The Times reporting that Sergio Aguero could be fit in time for the clash.

The Argentine striker has not featured for City since picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United three weeks ago.

However, it is said that the 31-year-old is now doing individual ball work at the training ground and is hopeful of being involved in a full training session this week, ahead of City’s trip to London.

Aguero’s availably could serve as a big boost to Pep Guardiola’s side as they have not been as free-scoring this campaign as we have seen in previous years.

Football.London previously reported that City could be without summer signing Nathan Ake for the game against Spurs.

However, that is unlikely to prove too much of set back for Guardiola, with the Spaniard seemingly having settled on a central defensive partnership of Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias.
