According to 90min, Sergio Reguilon would prefer to return to his former club Sevilla this summer as Tottenham look to facilitate a departure.
Reguilon made 25 Premier League appearances for Spurs last season (TransferMarkt). However, the 25-year-old lost his starting berth, with Antonio Conte seemingly preferring Ryan Sessegnon as his left wing-back in the season run-in.
The acquisition of Ivan Perisic, who has played wing-back recently for Inter Milan, is another potential barrier in Reguilon’s push to gain first-team football next season.
Conte’s decision to omit Reguilon from his pre-season tour of South Korea is the final indication that the Spaniard is no longer in the coach’s plans (Football.London).
90min report that the left-back would prioritise a move to Sevilla and the Rojiblancos are keen to bring him back, having freed up a spot at left-back with the departure of Ludwig Augustinsson to Aston Villa.
Reguilon spent the 2019/20 season on loan in Andalusia, impressing as Sevilla beat Manchester United to the Europa League.
Serie A giants Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Reguilon (CalcioMercatoWeb), but the player is said to prefer a return to his homeland (90min).

Spurs Web Opinion
I love Conte’s ruthless nature. Leaving Reguilon at home, as well as Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, and Harry Winks, sends a message to the Spurs hierarchy that he doesn’t yet have the squad he desires.
Reguilon, although chaotic in attack, is a solid left-back and I can see him regaining his form at Sevilla.
