Report reveals Spurs plans regarding 18-year-old academy starlet next season

According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur will look to loan out Malachi Fagan-Walcott to an English club next season after he returns from his loan spell at Dundee FC.

Fagan-Walcott has risen through the age groups in the Spurs academy and was handed his first-team debut in the Champions League round of 16 away leg against RB Leipzig last season.

The centre-back joined Dundee on loan until the end of the season in search of regular first-team football.

Football Insider claims that the 18-year-old is very highly rated at Tottenham and the club have a clear plan mapped out for his development.

That is said to involve loaning him out to an EFL club next season, with many football league clubs already said to be monitoring the youngster’s development.

The report asserts that Spurs hope that Fagan-Walcott can spend the next season on loan at a Championship side should he shine at Dundee for the remainder of the season.

If not for his injury woes, Fagan-Walcott would have got minutes for the first-team this season along with the likes of Harvey White, Jack Clarke, Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett. Hopefully, the youngster makes up for lost time at Dundee.
