Multiple sources are now reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are keen to ensure that Harry Kane signs a new contract with the club in the near future.
It is certainly no exaggeration to say that Kane is one of the best players in European football at the moment, given the form he has been in so far this season.
The striker is thriving in a deeper role and has become Tottenham’s creator-in-chief, while still continuing to find the back of the net with regularity.
The England captain has recently been linked with moves to both Manchester City and Real Madrid but reports suggest that Spurs are keen to tie him down to a new deal.
The Athletic claim that negotiations with Kane are not a priority for the North Londoners at the moment since his current contract runs until 2024.
However, it is said that Tottenham want to ensure that the striker extends his stay at the club and are planning to commence renewal talks at the end of the season.
Eurosport also reveal that the club are set to hold negotiations with the 27-year-old at the end of the season.
