Report reveals Tottenham’s stance on Dele Alli’s future

Tottenham Hotspur are still keen for Dele Alli to remain at the club despite his lack of game time this season.

The former MK Dons player who became an established first team regular and England international under Mauricio Pochettino has experienced a tough campaign under Jose Mourinho.

The 24-year-old has only started one Premier League match this season and featured in eleven games in total in all competitions (transfermarkt).

Dele was named in the starting eleven for the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Stoke City and was singled out for criticism by Mourinho after he gave the ball away which led to their equaliser (talkSPORT).

The Daily Mail claim that the North Londoners want Dele to fight for his place within the side and have looked towards the example which Tanguy Ndombele has set after turning around his career at the club following a difficult first season in England following his club-record switch from Lyon.

Dele has been linked with a potential reunion with Pochettino should the Argentine be confirmed as the new manager of PSG.
