Report reveals two Spurs stars who are first to arrive and last to leave training

Football.London have revealed that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Eric Dier are the first players to arrive for Tottenham training and the last to leave.

The pair emerged as key members of the squad under Antonio Conte this term as Spurs secured their place back in the Champions League.

Denmark international Hojbjerg featured in all but two games in the Premier League (Transfermarkt) and created a strong partnership in midfield alongside January signing Rodrigo Bentancur.

Meanwhile, Dier produced an excellent campaign at the heart of Conte’s three-man defence but was controversially overlooked by Gareth Southgate as he was left out of the latest England squad.

And much of the Tottenham duo’s success last season can probably be put down to their hard work when it comes to training between games.

Football.London have claimed both Hojbjerg and Dier are usually the first players to arrive at the club’s Hotspur Way training centre and the last to depart the Enfield complex.

Their dedication reflects the precedent set by head coach Conte, who has enforced plenty of changes in and around the club since his arrival last November.

The Italian has focused heavily on altering the diets of his players and has reintroduced the squad eating together to create a close-knit group (The Athletic).

These are two names you would expect to arrive early and leave late when it comes to Tottenham training. You can tell by the way they work on the pitch just how dedicated they are and that was definitely shown through most parts of the recent campaign.
