Report reveals two strikers Spurs are looking at this summer – In talks with one already

With just three weeks to go in the 2020 summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prioritising a move for a striker (Football Insider).

The likes of Arkadiusz Milik and Habib Diallo are on Tottenham’s radar but the North Londoners are not said to be close to completing a deal for any striker at the moment (Football.London).

In a report from The Sun, it is claimed that Tottenham could still be eyeing a homegrown option as an understudy for Harry Kane.

The report also claims that the Lilywhites are currently weighing up a move for Josh King, who Bournemouth are open to selling this transfer window.

It is said that King’s ability to play wide as well as through the middle makes him an ideal option for Jose Mourinho.

The striker is allegedly available for around £15 million this summer, with Spurs facing competition from Aston Villa, Fulham, and Everton for the striker.

The report also claims that Spurs are currently in talks with Diallo, with the club viewing the Senegalese striker as an alternative to King.

Spurs Web Opinion

With the contrasting reports coming out over the past week or so regarding our striker pursuit, it is anybody’s guess at this point who our main target is. However, one thing that is clear on the back of the Everton defeat is that we desperately need a more direct option to call on from the bench in games where we are finding it difficult to play through the opposition.
