Report reveals update on Bryan Gil after injury out on-loan at Valencia

According to RadioEsport Valencia (04/04/22 – as relayed by Inside Futbol), Valencia are feeling more positive about Bryan Gil after the on-loan Tottenham man was forced off with an injury during their clash against Cadiz.

Gil has made a tremendous impact since joining Valencia on loan on transfer deadline day – so much so that the La Liga club are already said to be working on extending the winger’s stay at the Mestalla (90 Min).

El Desmarque revealed last month that the 21-year-old is keen to be part of Spain’s squad for the World Cup in November and could be in favour of an extension of his loan with Los Che ahead of the competition in Qatar.

It looked as though Valencia and Gil’s plans could be scuppered when the winger limped off with an injury in the 77th minute in the club’s 0-0 draw against Cadiz on Sunday.

However, according to RadioEsport Valencia, Jose Bordalas’ side are now feeling more positive about the on-loan Spurs man’s injury.

It is revealed that while Gil has not trained with his teammates, he is in much better shape than he was on Sunday, having undergone some low-intensity work in the gym.

It is explained that the winger will now undergo a scan to ascertain the exact seriousness of his injury.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is good news as it would have been a shame for Gil’s loan spell to be cut short by injury, given how well he has been playing since his move. I think there is every chance that his loan spell at the Mestalla will be extended since Conte is likely to want to add to his forward line in the summer.
