Report reveals update on futures of Bergwijn, Moura and Lamela

Football London have reported that Steven Bergwijn is still thought to have a big part to play in the future of Tottenham Hotspur.

This news comes despite a below-par season for the Dutch winger that saw him score just one goal and miss out on the Netherlands Euro 2020 squad.

Bergwijn featured just 21 times in the Premier League across the season, assisting four goals and netting his only strike in the final two weeks of the campaign (TransferMarkt).

Despite the fact that Tottenham only signed the attacker for £27m back in January 2020, it is said that his value has already dropped to below £20m.

The report also added that fellow wide players, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura, can leave the North London club this summer ahead of a shakeup under Fabio Paratici.

It appears that Bergwijn will be given the benefit of the doubt ahead of Tottenham’s summer transfer business, while it may finally be the end of the line for Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura.
