Football.London have revealed that Antonio Conte stood in the centre circle with a smile on his face as Tottenham’s end of season montage was played on the big screens at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Spurs had to get all three points to go clear in fourth place ahead of Arsenal’s trip to St James’ Park this evening.

The home side got the job done courtesy of a Harry Kane spot-kick at the end of the first half and there was a collective sigh of relief in the stadium in the final whistle went.

The Tottenham players and staff, along with their families, went around the ground for a lap of appreciation to thank the fans for their support during the season.

Football.London reveal that ahead of the lap of appreciation, the squad, along with Conte watched the season compilation videos on the big screen.

The Spurs boss is said to have clapped when he saw Steven Bergwijn’s dramatic late winner at the King Power Stadium. It is revealed that the 52-year-old then applauded the fans at the end of the montage.

The scenes during the lap of appreciation suggested that the squad is very much a tight-knit group and Conte is enjoying his time at the club. The Italian seems to already have a great connection with the Spurs fans, which is why I do not think there is any chance of him leaving the club this summer.
