Meanwhile, Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that the Brighton star stayed at the Spurs Lodge overnight and was expected to complete his medical at Hotspur Way yesterday.
The journalist added that he expects Tottenham to officially announce the 25-year-old’s signing before the end of the week.
The Evening Standard have now backed up Gold’s claim on Bissouma being expected to undergo his medical on Thursday. It is asserted that agreeing on personal terms with the Mali international is not expected to be an issue for Spurs.
The report adds that Bissouma is not just excited at the prospect of working with Conte but is also looking forward to playing in the Champions League with Tottenham.
