Report reveals what Conte did to get insight into character of Spurs players

According to The Telegraph, Antonio Conte watched Amazon Prime’s All or Nothing documentary after his unsuccessful talks with Tottenham during the summer.

The Conte era at Spurs has now begun, with the North London club confirming the Italian has signed a contract until 2023 with an option of an extension.

The 52-year-old admitted to the club’s official website that he could not join in the summer since he was too emotionally involved with the Inter Milan job, having just resigned from the club.

He declared that the resolve of Daniel Levy was a crucial factor in persuading him to accept the job now.

The Telegraph have revealed that Conte slept at the Spurs lodge at Hotspur Way overnight yesterday before meeting the staff and the players today.

The report also added that the former Chelsea boss watched Amazon Prime’s All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur, the behind-the-scenes documentary filmed on the club’s 2019/20 season.

It is explained that the documentary gave Conte an insight into how the club operates and the characters of some of the players in the squad.

Spurs Web Opinion

Anyone who watches the documentary could not help but be impressed by our training ground and the stadium. So, perhaps that played a part in helping convince Conte to take the job. He would also have seen Mourinho’s perception of Dele as a lazy trainer, which could potentially impact his interactions with the midfielder.
