Report reveals what Conte has decided after talks with Spurs collapse

According to a report from Goal Italy, Antonio Conte has decided to take a year away from football after the collapse in talks with Tottenham.

Some Spurs fans were frustrated when it emerged on Friday that the club had pulled back from their talks with Conte.

Fabrizio Romano has said in an interview with Chris Cowlin that while there was nothing going on between the two parties at the moment, Spurs reigniting their interest in Conte remains a possibility in the days and weeks ahead.

However, Romano explained that the Italian has not yet changed his demands and it is up to the North London club to meet them if they want to convince him to take over.

Goal Italy have now claimed that the chances of Conte joining Spurs have diminished and that the 51-year-old has decided to take a sabbatical after leading Inter to the Scudetto.

The report mainly discusses Fabio Paratici’s impending arrival at Tottenham and explains how the former Juventus chief football officer rejected offers from France, Spain and Italy to take over at the Premier League club.

However, it is asserted that ‘barring sensational twists’, Paratici is unlikely to reunite with Conte at Spurs.
