Report reveals what could happen to Ryan Sessegnon next season

Football London have reported that a decision will have to be made on Ryan Sessegnon’s future if both Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davies remain at Tottenham this summer.

The report claims that another loan move has not been ruled out by the North London club and could be looked at if they do not believe that Sessegnon will get the game time he needs next season.

Not only that, but it is said a loan fee could bring in some much-needed extra funds for Spurs to work with this summer.

Sessegnon was loaned out to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga last season in search of some more consistent minutes.

After Spurs signed him from Fulham for around £25m, Sessegnon played just six Premier League games in the 2019/20 season.

On loan in Germany, Sessegnon played 29 matches in all competitions, scoring twice and assisting another three (TransferMarkt).

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Spurs move to five at the back next season, I assume that Sessegnon would become Reguilon’s deputy at left-wing-back, with Ben Davies covering at left-centre-back. If Sessegnon does go on loan again, it needs to be a Premier League side this time.
