Report reveals what Daniel Levy has been doing at Hotspur Way this month

The Evening Standard have revealed that Daniel Levy has been at Hotspur Way a lot over the last week, updating Ange Postecolgou on the club’s transfer business.

Tottenham have made a swift start to the summer transfer window, strengthening two priority areas with the signings of Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison even before the start of pre-season.

The club are now also thought to be on the verge of strengthening out wide following the departures of Arnaut Danjuma and Lucas Moura, with Manor Solomon expected to arrive as a free agent (The Athletic).

Additionally, reports over recent days have indicated that Spurs are also prioritising strengthening at left centre-back, with the club alleged to be in talks over deals for Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba and Wolfsburg’s Micky van de Ven (Fabrizio Romano).

Levy has been in direct contact with Postecoglou

The Evening Standard have explained that Levy has thus been a busy man and has been at Hotspur Way over the last week to discuss the transfer developments with Postecolgou.

The report states that the Spurs chairman has been regularly updating the Australian on the progress of various deals and on the club’s work to offload unwanted players.

With Fabio Paratici no longer at the club, Levy will now be doing all of the negotiating himself, which is something the Spurs chairman clearly enjoys.

Hopefully, the club complete most of their business swiftly rather than pushing deals until the end of the transfer window in order to get a better price.
