Report reveals what Dele Alli did the day after being robbed at knife point

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Dele Alli, trained at Hotspur Way today despite being the victim of a break-in during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The Daily Mail revealed that two males wearing balaclavas broke into the midfielder’s home where the Spurs star has been isolating with his brother Harry Hickford, their two partners, and a long-term friend.

The burglars took various items including jewellery and watches before fleeing. Alli was reportedly held at knifepoint and suffered a minor facial injury after getting into an altercation with the culprits. Police are currently investigating the incident.

The Spurs midfielder took to social media earlier today to confirm that he was okay and to thank fans for their support.

The Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick has now revealed that the 24-year-old arrived at Hotspur Way today for individual drills, despite the scare. The England star is reportedly being supported around the clock by a player liaison officer from the club.

Spurs Web Opinion

This sounds like an extremely scary incident and it has happened just a couple of months after Jan Vertonghen’s house was also broken into. It is good that nobody was harmed but I suspect players will now be taking more stringent security measures following these incidents.
