Report reveals what future holds for Spurs’ TJ Eyoma after successful loan

Football London have reported that TJ Eyoma will be given a chance to prove himself this summer when he returns to training with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 21-year-old has just completed a highly successful loan spell with Lincoln City down in League One, even starting the club’s play-off final defeat against Blackpool.

Eyoma made an incredible 52 appearances for the Imps, regularly playing at both right-back and centre-back, similar to Japhet Tanganga in North London.

Football London claim that the new Spurs manager will take a look at all of his players in pre-season, including people like Eyoma. Of course, this is exactly how Tanganga first thrust himself into the first-team picture.

However, the report also adds that, if there is not a role for Eyoma at Spurs next season, multiple Championship clubs will likely queue up to sign him on loan.

It is also said that Eyoma could save Spurs millions on a central defensive back-up, especially when it comes to competitions such as the Europa Conference League.
