Report reveals what Marcel Sabitzer has told RB Leipzig ahead of transfer window

SportBILD have reported that Marcel Sabitzer has told RB Leipzig that he wants to explore a move to England in the summer transfer window (relayed by Sport Witness).

The report claims that, before Sabitzer talks to the German club about a possible new contract, he first wants to look at a potential move to the Premier League.

Sabitzer will enter the final year of his Leipzig contract at the end of the current season and the club are said to be keen on tying him down to a new one.

Leipzig and Sabitzer have reportedly agreed to meet after the conclusion of the European Championships to decide on his future but not talks over an extension have been held as of yet.

The report adds that if Leipzig do not receive any interesting bids from other European clubs, such as Tottenham, a new contract is still a real possibility for Marcel Sabitzer. Therefore, the door appears to be open for Levy and co to make their move.
