If there is one thing Jose Mourinho is known for during his nearly twodecade-long management career, it is getting his players believing that they are the best.

The Portuguese manager’s man-management abilities have been hailed by many of the stars who have played under him. The legendary manager has a history of taking players under his wing, building up their ego and getting them playing for him (The Athletic).

It looks like Mourinho has already started doing what he does best at his new club as a report in the Times has revealed what the new Spurs boss texted Harry Kane soon after accepting the job.

The report claims that the 56-year-old sent a text message to Kane saying he was the best striker in Europe and that he will help him win trophies at Spurs.

Meanwhile, the Spurs forward was among several members of the squad to send Mauricio Pochettino an emotional farewell message following his departure.

Kane began life under Mourinho by scoring Tottenham’s third goal in their 3-2 win against West Ham United.
