Report reveals what out-of-favour Spurs star is demanding to leave the club

Football Insider have claimed that Danny Rose wants the full value of his Tottenham contract to be paid off in order to terminate his current deal with the club.

The same publication reported last week that Tottenham are considering releasing Rose from his contract after failing to find a buyer for him before the transfer window closed.

The report suggested that the Lilywhites were seeking to reach a compromise with the left-back, who has been left out of the club’s Premier League and Europa League squad.

However, it is now claimed that Rose, who has eight months remaining on his £70,000-a-week contract, wants a full pay off from the North Londoners.

Unless the left-back receives the £2.5million-plus that is remaining on his deal, it is said that he might see his contract out and leave as a free agent next summer.

The report suggests that the England international is unlikely to secure a loan deal away from North London on his current salary.
