According to Football Insider, Tottenham target Richarlison has told close friends that he wants to leave Everton this summer and join Spurs.
The Brazilian was influential in ensuring Frank Lampard’s side escaped relegation from the Premier League last season.
Scoring ten goals and providing five assists in just 30 league appearances for the Toffees, he epitomised the gritty nature of his club’s escape (TransferMarkt).
The Evening Standard have reported that Spurs are willing to step up their pursuit of Richarlison and launch a formal offer, having cooled their interest in Gabriel Jesus.
Spurs’ interest certainly seems to be intensifying, with Football Insider now claiming that talks between the Lilywhites and Everton have taken place.
Manchester United have also been linked to Richarlison (Goal), however, he is not their top target and the Brazilian has his heart set on Champions League football next season (Football Insider).
Everton are said to be holding out for a £50m fee this summer, with Richarlison having two years left to run on his current contract.

If the source is true and Richarlison does want to make the move to N17, then this will only play in Spurs’ favour as they look to get a deal over the line.
