A number of reports have been released this week regarding Antonio Conte and the potential of the former Chelsea boss joining Tottenham.
Tuttosport have reported that Tottenham could even announce Conte as the club’s new head coach within the week, which would be welcome news for Spurs fans who have been without a permanent boss for around 50 days (via Sport Witness).
However, Daniel Levy and co are apparently looking to counter Conte’s wage demands by handing a yearly wage rise package and various bonuses in order to convince him.
Finally, Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that there is a ‘good chance’ of seeing one or both of Conte and Fabio Paratici in North London next season. This report also claims that an announcement could be made as early as next week (via Sport Witness).
It is said that Conte knows the route to Premier League success would be tough but Levy would give him time to build a project.
