Report reveals when Gareth Bale is expected to start a game for Spurs again

The Daily Mail have now reported that Jose Mourinho will hand Bale his first start since returning to the club on Thursday as Tottenham take on LASK in the Europa League.

It was almost a dream return for Gareth Bale at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, yet a matter of inches robbed him of a goal on his second debut.

Bale entered the action against West Ham at 3-0 with 20 minutes left to play, however, the Welshman was in for a shock on what should have been a fairytale day.

The Hammers pulled two goals back by the 86th minute, giving them a glimmer of hope in the pursuit of a valuable point away from home.

However, when Harry Kane released Bale on the break, it seemed all but over for David Moyes and his men, as the winger cut inside and skipped past one to go through on goal.

Unfortunately for Bale and Spurs, after doing the hard part and creating the chance for himself, the Welsh wizard dragged his left-footed shot wide of the post.

While it could have easily been 4-2, West Ham went up the other end and made it 3-3, thus dampening a special day for Gareth and his Tottenham teammates.
