Report reveals when Kane will starting training with his Spurs teammates

The Athletic have revealed Harry Kane is expected to start training with his Tottenham teammates on Thursday.

With just three weeks left until the transfer window shuts, there continues to be a big question mark over Kane’s future.

The striker was thought to be on strike last week in an attempt to force through a move to Manchester City but he has denied ever refusing to train.

Pep Guardiola admitted a few days ago that City are interested in Kane but insisted there is nothing the Premier League champions can do if Spurs were unwilling to negotiate.

Despite Guardiola’s claim, City are reportedly confident of getting a deal for the England captian over the line before the transfer window shuts.

Kane is currently isolating in The Lodge at Hotspur Way and Nuno Espirito Santo is set to speak with him for the first time today.

The Athletic have now revealed that Spurs plan to reintegrate the striker into group training on Thursday after he has served a five-day quarantine period.

The report adds that it is still unclear whether Kane will feature in Tottenham’s season opener against City on Sunday.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not expect Kane to play any part against City. Nuno and his staff seem to have worked on the side’s shape in pre-season and I expect us to start with the same eleven that started against Arsenal with the possible exception of Davinson Sanchez (who looks like he could be on his way out of the club).
