Report reveals when PSG expect Tottenham to make Dele Alli decision by

According to The Daily Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain expect Tottenham Hotspur to make a decision on Dele Alli before the end of this week.

Alli failed to even make the matchday squad for Spurs’ trip to Bramall Lane on Sunday, with Jose Mourinho hinting that the midfielder is not working hard enough in training to warrant a place in the side.

A report from Le Parisien this week provided a comprehensive update on PSG’s pursuit of the Tottenham star and suggested that the Ligue 1 giants have not given up hope of landing the midfielder.

It was claimed in the report that Tottenham were not willing to sanction a straight-forward loan deal and were insisting on adding a £45m obligation to buy the midfielder at the end of the season.

However, The Mirror have now claimed that a temporary move until the end of the season is still on the cards, with PSG expecting Spurs to make a decision on the England international’s future in the coming days.

The report suggests that moving Alli on could potentially free up Spurs to do some business before the end of the month.

Going by the various reports on Alli’s future over the past few days, it looks as though there are new developments every single day in this saga. I would be surprised if the club lets the 24-year-old leave on loan without bringing in a replacement considering the hectic schedule we have in the second half of the season.
