Report reveals when Richarlison will arrive for first day at Tottenham training ground

Richarlison is set to arrive at Tottenham’s training ground tomorrow to undergo his first session as a Spurs player, according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas.

Signed from Everton in a transfer reaching £60 million (The Guardian), the forward will link up with his new teammates at Hotspur Way for the first time to undergo a series of fitness tests as he begins his pre-season preparations.

Richarlison became Antonio Conte’s fourth signing of the summer following the earlier arrivals of Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.

Spurs managed to fend off late competition from rivals Chelsea to land the 25-year-old Brazil international (Sky Sports), who was instrumental in keeping Everton in the Premier League last season.

However, they will be without Richarlison for their opening game of the season against Southampton, after the FA handed him a one-match ban for throwing a flare into the crowd during a game against the Blues last term (Daily Mail).

Conte will be happy Spurs managed to complete the deal for Richarlison in good time as he will have a decent amount of time to get started with pre-season training in the UK.

It will allow him to get acquainted with his new teammates and surroundings much easier and those factors are always positive.
