Report reveals when Spurs-linked striker will make decision on his future

According to CalcioMercato, rumoured Tottenham target, Andrea Belotti will only make a decision regarding his future at the end of the current season.

Belotti has been on Tottenham’s radar for a long time, with the North Londoners reportedly seeing an offer of around €50m (£46.3m) for the 27-year-old rejected by Torino in the summer of 2020.

Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma were credited with an interest in snapping up the Torino star this summer but the striker once again ended up staying put at Turin.

Belotti is now into the final year of his contract at the Olympic Grande Torino Stadium and president Urbano Cairo revealed back in July that they had offered him a new contract.

However, if CalcioMercato’s latest update is to be believed, the Italian international has no intention of putting pen to paper on a new contract anytime soon.

The report asserts that Belotti will only make a final decision regarding his future at the end of the current campaign.

Spurs Web Opinion

I have always been a fan of Belotti and would certainly take him as one of two potential replacements for Kane if we do cash in on the England captain next summer. However, the fact that Belotti will be a free agent next summer will mean that he will likely have many offers to choose from, and I would not be surprised if he chose to remain in Serie A.
